Fun, Fun, Fun! - Summer Youth Trips

It's cold outside, but that doesn't mean we can't be thinking about warm rays of sunshine, beautiful hikes in the Rockies, and all of the awesome trip offerings for youth this summer! We're of course excited for Cathedral Camp (June 17 - 23) for all 3rd graders through High School Youth , a week long opportunity to craft, play camp games, form (and reform) new and old friendships, and grow closer to God in the beautiful outdoor Sanctuary that is Cathedral Ridge. We can't wait to see you at camp this summer! Registration begins THIS SUNDAY, January 15th! Sign up early because spaces go FAST! In addition to camp, we are also extremely excited about 3 mission trip opportunities, including one hosted by the Cathedral! Last year we sent 3 youth who had a BLAST! All trips are hosted by Young Episcopalians in Service (YES!) , led by Tina Clark, our incoming Christian Formation Director. One of the big things we want to do is show our youth how exciting our sacred stories can be and build on the work of Godly Play, by giving them the opportunity to open up the Bible to explore, question, and discuss for themselves. More importantly, scripture and prayer can be incredibly powerful resources for youth who are finding their voice and identity in the person God made them to be . The Bibles and BCPs that we were using had been handed down from other ministries with a lot of wear and tear. Now, there
